However, to become a lawyer or judicial law clerk, you’ll need quite a bit of education under your belt, including a bachelor’s degree and a law degree. On top of that, you’ll also need state licensure.

If you decide to get a job as a software or web developer or a programmer or tester, you probably won’t have trouble finding openings, with approximately 180,000 of these jobs available each year.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and developing or programming experience is the key to landing one of these jobs.

If you want to enter this career field, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or another related field. Additionally, you may need certifications. Over 60,000 job openings are expected annually.

Although this is not one of the highest-paying jobs on the list, the barrier to entry is low. A high school diploma and possible certification for some roles is all you’ll need.

Plus, there’s over 130,000 vacancies expected each year.

If you are interested in working in the tech field, here’s a career where you can earn over $100,000 annually on average.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is the only education requirement to become a database or network administrator or architect. Over 40,000 vacancies in this field are projected annually.

If you wouldn’t mind becoming a chauffeur or taxi driver, salaries have seen a favorable increase in the recent past and are likely to continue increasing in 2024.

A high school diploma, a driver’s license and a clear driving record can put you in a position to get hired. Plus, there are almost 132,000 vacancies projected annually.

It’s possible you could land a sales representative job with a high school diploma and some on-the-job training. However, some roles do require a bachelor’s degree.

Even so, with the average annual salary in the U.S. at $59,428 across careers, according to Forbes, an average salary of around $83,000 and counting for this role is worth considering.

With some postsecondary education and solid computer skills, you could be making more than average annual salary across the U.S. — no bachelor’s degree required. And with over 66,000 job vacancies projected each year, jobs aren’t exactly in short supply.

Healthcare support occupations include occupational therapy assistant, medical transcriptionist and home health aide.

A bachelor’s degree is not required. However, you’ll need a high school diploma and possibly a certification to gain entry into the field. The great news is there are a whopping 257,100 job vacancies projected annually.

If you’re looking for a job that will complement your creative side, become a UX designer, graphic designer, industrial designer or interior designer.

You will need a bachelor’s degree and a solid portfolio to compete for one of these jobs. About 67,000 openings are expected annually in this field.
